Why Do I Need An Unrestricted License?
Training on manual transmission gives you an unrestricted CDL, opening doors that automatic-only training simply can't. Here's the difference:
Manual Transmission (Unrestricted)
- Increased job opportunities
- Greater flexibility in equipment
- Enhanced control of the truck
- Potential better paying jobs
- Broader experience
- Resilience in the job market
Important: Some companies that only operate automatics still require no restrictions on your license.
Automatic Transmission Only
- •Easy to learn
- •Less fatigue
- •Higher demands (limited to automatic-only jobs)
- •Fewer skills to master
- •Faster testing process
