Mission Statement
Provide competency-based training in small classes (4 : 1) to graduate safe, courteous professional drivers.
Objective
Produce the finest CDL graduates by teaching the why and how of every maneuver with safety first.
Admission Requirements
- 21+ to drive interstate (pre-hire required if <21)
- Active AZ driver's license ≥ 1 year
- Read/speak English sufficiently to operate a CMV
Drug-Screen Policy
Marijuana remains prohibited under FMCSA. Any DOT-failed test is reported to the Training Provider Registry; prospective students should self-test if concerned.
Program Schedule
- Week 1 – 40 hrs ELDT theory (hybrid) + optional range observation
- Week 2 – Range & road: Pre-trip, offset, parallel, straight-line, basics
- Week 3 – Road tests, backing tests, CDL testing
- Week 4 – Optional remedial time if extra practice is needed
Attendance & Holidays
Absence limit: ≤ 2 per week / 4 total. Observed holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thu-Fri), Christmas Eve & Christmas.
Refund Policy
Full refund if canceled within 3 days of signing and before class. After start and up to 60% completion, tuition is prorated + $200 admin fee. No refund after 60% completion.
Grading System
Five-point proficiency scale: 1 (≤ 60%) to 5 (100%). Minimum 3 (80%) required to graduate.
Graduation Requirements
- ≥ 80% score in theory & BTW
- ≥ 80% attendance
- Pass CDL test + committed pre-hire
- All financial responsibilities satisfied
Student Conduct & Grievance
Professional behavior is expected. Destruction of school property, illegal activities, or threats lead to dismissal. Grievances should be submitted to the School Director for investigation.
