Graduating from truck driving school is just the start. Once you’re on the road, having the right gear can make your job safer, easier, and a lot more comfortable. Here’s what every new driver should pack before their first trip. This is especially important for maintaining your health on the road and staying safe during summer months.

Safety & Legal Essentials

  • Reflective safety vest
  • Steel-toe boots
  • DOT-compliant logbook or ELD device
  • Work gloves
  • Flashlight/headlamp

Comfort & Daily Living
